Market -Seven Archons
Seven Archons is open to novel, novella, and poetry collections:
Speculative Fiction (including, but not limited to, Horror, Science Fiction, and Fantasy).
General Fiction (particularly the categories of Mystery/Thriller, Westerns, Transgressive, and Satires/Comedies).
Poetry (full collections: 70-300 pages in length)
They are looking for professional authors that have done their research in the field and know what they would like to write.
All Submissions should be in Times, 12- point font. Double Spaced, 1” Margins, No Auto-formatting, please
Word count is 40,000 to 70,000 (While this is not set in stone, they don’t want to receive short stories or epics. That being said, please query if your work is outside of the specified limits.) No reprints, please.
Once your manuscript is prepared in proper format, here is what you should send them:
A synopsis of 1 page or less. Please do not give away the ending. Consider this more of a back cover blurb rather than a full-out, detail of the book in question. The full manuscript
Include a one- paragraph author bio in the e-mail.
To make it easier to know if you should submit your work to them, here are a few things they are not interested in:
Romance & Erotica
Horror involving Zombies & Vampires
Cheesy Mysteries & Out-of-left-field endings. (They aren’t interested in cats as protagonists. They like pulp, puzzle mysteries, and espionage.)
Cliche Science Fiction (They are more interested in works with literary undertones.)
Fantasy where the hero is simply there to save the day (Give your characters dimension and purpose. Show them the personality of the world you’ve created, not only the outsider’s view.)
Contracted authors’ books will be published with Seven Archons exclusively for a term of 3 years. They cannot, at this time, offer an advance. Author compensation will be 30% royalties on NET profit.

They are a very small operation. They aim to release 1-5 titles a year.
